Only 2 more days to register to vote.

This election is probably one the most important in recent memory with two major issues at its core, the climate emergency and the B word, not to mention other issues such as austerity, social care, wages, NHS. How can you not want your voice heard?

Registering to vote only takes about 5 minutes and you now have until the 11:59pm on the 26th November or 5:00pm if you wish to register for a postal vote.

If you are going to be abroad for the election then you can elect to have your vote by proxy.

Who can Register?

  • If you are aged 16 or over ( 14 in Scotland )
  • A UK Citizen (or an Irish, EU or Commonwealth citizen with a permanent UK address)
  • You can vote when you’re 18 or over.

Students

Don't forget you can register to vote at both your university and home address so make sure you don't miss out. You can only vote once though.

Updating your registration

You can also use the ‘Register to vote’ service to:

  • change your name, address or nationality
  • get on or off the open register

To do this, you need to register again with your new details (even if you’re already registered to vote).

So make sure you are registered to make your voice heard, and if you vote Green all the better.
